A/c not working in 2002

Hey guys, my manager has a 2002 TL and the A/C turns on (i can tell because the engine RPM drops when it's turned on) but it doesn't blow the cold air. What should I look for?

Low on freon? the tip-off is that the RECIRCULATE light is always on, as the system tries to keep up with the demand.

OR

One of the air-mix door motors on the climate control is defective. He should try turning the temp to 60 degrees for 30 seconds (Full Auto mode) see if the air gets cooler.
