lexus dealer sold me off the 06 is250 and into the 05 TL
man am i pissed.
i went to them to see if these idiots had some sort of info on the is250 and pricing.
this old dumbarse while eating kept telling me he doesnt know and nor should i. he kept insuing the fact since im young i cannot afford this car. he didnt even give a rats ***.
he eventually pissed me off when he said that "lexus is making these cars for stupid kids who got moms money to blow in hope theyll be a lifetime lexus customer" while implying me as one of these.
the very minute i said i can easily afford upto 35k, he jumped onto trying to sell me a stupid es330. i told him no, i did not like it. i told him it resembles too much like a camry, considering its based off the camrys current platform and i personally disliked the shape of said car.
he then went off on saying i dont know **** about the car and its nothing like camry (he went onto say toyota is inferior to lexus. h funny, lexus is a **** toyota anyways).
i had enough of this ******* and i told him" screw you, im going next door to the acura dealership and do my business there. thanks for selling me onto the acura TL and selling my mom onto the acura MDX prick" and i stormed off.
i plan to email the manager and inform him of such a crappy rep. youd think hed try to get me to wanna buy the is250 and also my mom on the RX, but then this guy just lost 2 sales to the acura dealer
Ouch, well its his loss. Don't you mean the IS300, not Is250. Well, for that price, I'd go get the TL. They are really nice cars. I already had some bad experience with dealerships before. For example, one day i went up to the local honda dealerships. Automatically as i rolled by, the salesmen gave me dirty looks cus i modded my honda(exhaust, lowered and etc) I guess they don't like it when you do stuff to a honda. The only good experience i had was with a nissan dealership. They were pretty nice and edged me on to test drive a 350Z, manual of course. The only bad thing was that they told me to come back cus all of their 350z's were auto.

is300 is redesigned for 2006 and comes in either 250 RWD, 250 AWD, 350 RWD.

Are the different numbers apply to power ratings or just options available in the car. I heard that lexus might come out with a V8 IS series. I think rod millen swapped out the engine from a GS400/430 to fit into the IS chassis.
go tl six speed. i have a cl-s. that is one of the smoothest cars i have ever had. i would not really worry about nav. the option is around 2500. or go g35. those are pretty reasonable used.

I hate fucking "car trash" like that ( thats what we call salesmen like that in the business). They pre-qualify everyone and try to make decisions for everyone. I sell cars for honda and we also own an acura dealership and i make a pretty good living from it because i treat everyone the same wheter ur buying a 13000 civic or a 40K odyssey. People like the aforementioned salesperson make all of us look bad.
BTW u got a great price on a nice rare car. I had to wait a while for mine to be located because its the hardest combination to find!
White/Navi/6speed.......smooth as silk!
