need help picking rims on TL 05

hey guys, my brother in law just got a TL but it the stock rims was lacking our taste,it looks nice but just too small, but do anyone have any pic of TL on some nice rims?please post em up, plz help meh , it giving me headach thinking off which rims look right, but gimme some idea and help ,thanks

axis mod 7 or axis supermesh. awesome rims.. and they are relatively light

for the TL you need something with big spokes. something like 5 spoke would be kool. get like 18-19's.

check out some of the volks wheels.

How about these ones!!! I think these Axis rims will look perfect on your TL but you have to go 19's to make it look hot!!!

i would rather go 18's and drop the car about 1.5''. i like the lowered tuck look.

Say how are those Hankook Ventus tires??? I was thinking of buying either the Falkens or Hankook Ventus.

The tires aren't bad.. Reasonable not too loud, but i didn't drive the TL that much. Hence, I dont have a full review on these Hancooks. I haven't tried the Falkens yet. I paid about $200 CDN so about $167 / tire USD.

Since its Winter time, I decided to put back on the stock tires for the winter. Probably bring the 18" out in the Spring

But overall would you say they are better in terms of performance and durability over the stock tires!!!! One more question is how are they in the rain???

Better than the crappy EL's. Rain isn't bad unless your driving it hard, might be a little dangerous. Other than that just regular driving is good..

Thanks and I might just change my stock EL's to Hankook tires. So the ones you have are Z rated or H rated. They are all season performance tires correct. Say...just out of curiousity how much discount did you manage to get off from msrp. Must be pretty expensive since you got the OEM kit and Navi??

My Hankook are summer tires only. I've currently placed the stock EL's on the TL for the winter time.

I didn't get much MRSP off back in February b/c the was still new and not many Navi's in Vancouver BC at the time.

Then after I purchased the Lip kit from a store

How much did you pay for your A-spec kit and where did you buy it from?? I thought we can only buy it thru Acura???
