Thanks :byye
Get the AEM CAI from autocarparts.com or hpautoworks.com - I have done this myself and the car picks up a true 20 wheel horsepower and torque.
AEM over INJEN anyday!

I really don't think an intake will give you 20 whp. I have an intake and the most i expect out of it was like 5-7 hp.

It's 7:40 EST , they're on Mountain or Central so tomorrow I'm calling them...hope to get it for the price advertized of $180...
Thanks man....hey I hope there was no need to cut any wheel well liners like I had to do in my RSX-S....
edit...just got a e.mail from hpautoworks and they're quoting me $235 shipped....adventon so far is cheaper by $10.....
I also had an RSX S and this is a lot easier. There is no cutting and no moving the windshield washer bottle. The hardest thing is removing the stock air resonator and it involves using a small drill bit to drill out a couple rivets. The entire job took me and a friend less than 2.5 hours and I thought the RSX was a lot more involved.

dont take the dyno by AEM or Injen too seriously. dynos can be manipulated either way.
the best to expect is less than 10whp gained.
if anyone expects anymore gas milage, dont count on it. most people change their driving habits and style to hear the vtec kick in, thatll kill your MPG.

lol...I know what you mean but with that you can also prevent it from kicking in by shifting by ear, so yes I may burn up a few gallons the 1st few weeks but I know after that I will drive it with mpg in mind rather mph....
and I do agree that 20 whp sounds a bit too high as the guy who was talking to me over the phone as I was checking the prices...he said...."damn 20 whp...wow "...I kept quiet...lol
hey one more thing...I was looking into buying a Injen and the guy from this place says that they only make it for automatics, but AEM made it for both, yet AEM only has one part number that fits both 6m and autos....I don't get it why would Injen make it just for autos and AEM make "one" that fits both cars transmissions...

i think you should be ok with the TL application. i would call injen just to be sure though. the only difference is that sometimes the bolt might be a different location for the auto vs. manual.
