The Red Pill is DEAD!!!

Hey guys...long time no post...I was on I-95 south Monday night, cruise on 70, radio blastin, just kickin back, and BOOM, I hit something in the road. I turn off the radio, and tap the brake to disengage the cruise, and my baby starts to knock, BAD. 2 seconds later, all my dash lights tell me what I was hearing was in fact happening, and the motor shuts down. I quickly push in the clutch, as I remeber a thing or two in just such emergencies, and the needles go down. I manage to pull over with no power assist on the brakes or steering, get the freak out quick like, and pop the hood. BLACK SMOKE rising into the night sky. I look at the back of the car, and a river of black fluid has followed my car, on the ground, from where I turned off. I push the car a few feet, and there is already a 2 foot wide puddle of my babies blood on the ground. Long story short, I get her home, and there is a golf ball sized hole in the pan, and a matching hole @ cylinder #1, under the front mount. So I just sold my wifes G-35 coupe, and bought her a new car 2 months ago. We were planning on selling the Pill at the end of the year, and I was going to buy whatever I wanted (maybe 09 Accorde EX-L, Used Cayman, or 09 Evo...I know, but you gotta admit they are cool) I cannot afford nice car payments until I pay off the wife's (12 more months). I think they will total the car, as whenever there is damage like that, they usually do. I figure I will get between 8-10K for her, and I am considering a buy back to part it out. I really don't want to deal with that though. Anyways, I am looking at what to buy for the next 12 months, that will be reliable, enjoyable, and I will get a decent price for when I sell it at the end of the year. So far, all I have seen is a few 02 CL Type S, one coupe and one 4 door, both auto, and both around 95-100K miles. Anyone have any suggestions? I am open, I am getting older though, and do not want a smaller car, as a matter of fact, the Prelude is prolly too small now, and I could not bear another one, as I loved the one I had, and she is NOT replacable! Any help would be appreciatted, I am expecting a call from the claim agent in a few days telling me the bad news. Thanks...

oh man, sucks to hear about that. hope you find another car that will come close to the "red pill".
