i was wondering what differences there are between the acura tl and tl type s and if it is possible to get parts to make a tl into a type s like engine and suspension componets?

We were somewhere near Barstow, when the drugs began to take hold.
this post is pretty old but here goes. there are a few differences in the motors. higher compresssion pistons and different heads on the tl-s. the tranny is also different plus thee is stability control on the s. i've heard of people swapping in a mdx crank into the s to stroke the motor to 3.5L. BUT... there is that little issue of the trannys in the type-s. my s has a little over 65k miles on the odo and my third tranny is on the fritz. not wrth the trouble imo. if you have the regular tl just get a supercharger. it would give more power
