OEM Oil Filter?

I bought the OEM filter from Honda for my CLS the other day (1st oil change). When I got under the car and scoped the old one, I thought I had the wrong one from Honda. It was tiny compared to the filter on the car. Honda assured me it was correct, so I changed it. Anyone have experience with the new, smaller size filters? Anyone have a preference on an aftermarket one?

the size of the filter persay does not matter. you need to make sire the threads are the same size, and that the diamter of the filter gasket is the same. thats all. i deal with this stuff every day, when i first started out, i couldnt figure out why 2 filters for the same car were verry different looking. and someone explained it to me as i just explained to you. hope that clears some stuff up.
