Taillight fit?

Will 2003 CL taillights fit a 2001. And is the only place to get these lights from the factory only? or is there some aftermarket ones that look like them for a cheaper price?

I think they will fit. I dont think any aftermarket company makes taillights for the cl.

Go to any of these sites:

acura-tl dot com
acura-cl dot com
autocarparts dot com

I'm not sure if it's cheaper....but it's bound to beat direct factory prices. Good luck!

thanks for replies, I was asking because my cousin might just get a 2001 CL but the newer taillights look better.

Thumbs up swaps...

In the Honda/Acura world just about anything is interchangeable, I know for a fact that you can swap the taillights from a '03 to the '01 CL and you can also swap the front headlights so that your '01 has black-inner housing headlights and half red/clear taillights, and then you can put the '03 alloys to really make your car look up to date. There are two reasons I know this 1. I was thinking about getting a '03 Cl and I had noticed that these changes were not that drastic of changes that Acura had made. 2. This guy was selling a '01 Cl on Ebay and he put the '03 Headlights/Taillights, its neat because with the CL you cant even tell the difference...just like when the '94-97 Integra's swap out for the '98-01 Integra front end/rear end with lights...

axis - you can't simply change the headlights of Integras between those years - the front bumper needs to be changed as well.
