hey i have access to the complete HID setup from the '98 rl i need to know what kind of bulb and how can i use it in my 6th gen civic?

Whats up,
First off what kind of civic do you have? It most likely has dual filament bulbs 9003/9007? First off the hid kit off of an RL is d2r or designed for a reflector. You'll need D2S bulbs,ballast-denso or bosch,projector ie ZKW,Bosch,Hella,or Valeo (only use oem parts). You'll have to remove your headlights split them open and secure the projector inside. If you have fluted lenses (vertical lines in the lense) you'll have to buy a clear headlight assembly or file all of the fluted lines down,otherwise it'll ruin your beam cutoff. Stay away from hid kits,you'll spend more after it fails. PM me if you need any morre help,or hit up the hidplanet website,

what you have in your hands is a great start for a retro project .
Do you have th eprojector setup also?>
