There is a thread, that all you guy's ignored (for good reason). Everyone (mostly) on this forum avoided that thread like the plague because the game (visually) is actually living up to it's hype. Still the most visually impressive game I've seen displayed on current generation console hardware.

The game is not "living up to it's hype," aka Sony's B.S. 'this is gameplay' trailer from E3. By the way, I think you meant "living up to its hype..." Looks like Mr. Grammar Patrol made an error. "It's" indicates a contraction, meaning "it is". "Its" is a possessive (shows ownership).

No one ignored the thread, we just didn't buy into the hype, unlike someone else, apparently...

Now I personally hate Halo, but I can understand why so many people love it and there are plenty of people that love the Halo series. Halo offers massive re-playability, no bullshit game play and people dig that, Killzone? Sure it looks incredibly good visually but so did Uncharted, but over all Uncharted was pretty lame.

Is Killzone going to be fun? Fuck if I know. Is Killzone going to offer re-playability? Fuck if I know. Is Killzone going to offer a no hassle, no bullshit game play? Fuck if I know. Will Killzone surpass Halo in community following? Fuck if I know.

REV, I'm not here to debate opinions, but Uncharted was not lame. Maybe you didn't dig the average joe character (you know, similar to Indiana Jones) instead of a huge space marine lugging thousands of pounds of armor, but I personally (as well as many others) enjoyed an incredibly nice change of pace.

blackdelsol - Do you really want me to snag images of Sergeant Major Avery Johnson or Miranda Keys? Because they look just as bad, lol. 'Sub par' my ass, the game looked great, but compared to the trailer, it did not. Not by a long shot.

IMO, Uncharted was a great game, and I really enjoyed playing through it. My only qualms were length and originality. With that said, if you own a PS3, you owe it to yourself to play Uncharted.
