GoW: Chains of Awesomeness
Game sounds amazing... the graphics they were able to get out of the PSP is astonishing. First review of the game: IGN gave it a 9.4! I'll update with a metascore as more reviews filter in.

Engaging from start to finish, Chains of Olympus is a mandatory purchase for anyone who owns a PSP and doesn't mind getting a little blood on their hands.
9.5 Presentation
Great story, lots of unlockables and nice voice acting tie the whole package together.
10 Graphics
Phenomenal achievement on the system. It's the best looking game there is, period.
9.5 Sound
The audio is easily on par with the console games, and the soundtrack might be even better.
9.5 Gameplay
It's not exactly original, but it's incredibly engaging and intense.
7.5 Lasting Appeal
It's relatively short (it took me about 7 hours), but there's plenty of bonus stuff to go back and earn.
9.4
Outstanding OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

From the demo I recieved around 6 months ago, it's a winner for the GoW franchise.
The controls were really tight, and the sound, for a PSP game, was wonderful. I certainly don't think it's as good (based on the demo) as the PS2 incarnations, however, this is by far shaping up to be one of the best PSP games, and finally one to get it some more playtime outside of FFT and Silent Hill Origins.

Yes, I must say this game really lures me to take the plunge... though I'm not sure if I can throw down another $170 this soon, considering I just spent a boat load on a 5.1 home theater system...

What kind of system did you pick up? My reciever recently took a huge crap on me, so I tossed in my HTIB on my setup, and I hate it. I'm saving up now to buy a new reciever, probably an Onkyo...torn between speakers though.

Good call on the Onkyo. That's what I would have done if I wasn't so lazy, lol. I didn't really have the time to piece together my own system, but in the end I still ended up pretty good. 'Technically' what I bought was a HTiB, but it has an actual receiver(that also carries audio via HDMI, a huge plus in my book), it is upgradeable to 7.1, matches my TV perfectly(very sleek), and has an awesome 'bang for your buck' factor(IMO it competes with systems in the $1000 range). Anyways, I got the Samsung HT-AS720ST:
Samsung - 650W 5.1-Channel Home Theater System - HT-AS720ST
The best part is I got an awesome deal on it, go ahead and guess what I paid!
Anyhow, what speakers were you thinking about getting?

Good setup man, I'm guessing you paid Under $500 for it, lol.
I'm torn between getting all bookshelf pairs, or settling for this 5 piece and 1 bookshelf pair: Klipsch - Quintet SL 5-Piece Home Theater System - Gray - QUINTET SL
Time will tell, lol.

Being the forgetful person I am, I left my second HDMI cable at home(I need one to go from game system to receiver, and one more to go from receiver to TV). So I haven't been able to watch a movie or play iPod/CDs yet.
As for my system, after my discount it was $410, but I had $200 in Best Buy gift cards I have been saving since Christmas, so I walked out the door with the system for ~$235, and that's after tax.
That's a bad ass speaker set you are looking at though... Klipsch is top of the line, so you are def on the right track. What receiver were you going for?

I'm actually holding out on Receiver, probably won't pick it up for another 6 to 8 months, so it'll depend on what's on the market at that time.
Going back to this HTiB, I'm really saddened, lol. Watched Casino Royale again on Blu-Ray, and it's just not the same, I can tell the range of audio is much worse on my HTiB that was in my room
Oh well though, what can you do? Just means I can only enjoy great picture now, not great sound

That is unfortunate, but at least your eyes will be happy? Lol.
What were you using that broke? And may I ask what your temp. system is?
