a buddy from work was telling me the other day that you had to like "scroll" through the people in front of you and once you get to the person you want to shoot you then push the shoot button.
ive never played a gta game on playstation but that sounds really stupid and gay. he basically said that if you had 10 people in front of you, there would be a little mark over the person you're aiming at. to move the mark you would have to push over on the d-pad and it would move to the next person. if that wasnt the one you wanted you would have to keep pushing over until it got to the person you wanted.
i really hope that gta: iv isnt going to be like that. i would think they'd make it like cod4 or something. as long as i can set the sticks to legacy ill be alright.

Vice City and San Andreas were like that, but GTA3 was not. It's really not as bad as your friend is making it out to be. It's simply an auto-aim feature that lets you scroll through the nearest enemies.

With such a big online component this time around... I would hope that they'd shut off or severely nerf the auto-aim function. To make things more competitive.
Someone told me that GTAIV uses the same engine used for Gears of War. If this is the case, does that mean we're gonna get the over-the-shoulder FPS style shooter? Anyone hear anything of that nature at all?

if its anything like drakes fortune it would be just as gay as this auto-aim crap.
i read online that drakes fortune was a really good game but the aiming and inability to switch the controls to "legacy" has owned me thus far
