New GT5: Prologue Details
Bu-Bu-But I don't wanna pay full price for a Demo
Just to put it into perspective, this game will support 16 players online, split screen play, have 60 cars (that's nearly as many as Burnout Paradise) Six Tracks (each with two layouts, so 'technically' 12 tracks) and the ability to tune your cars. Oh, and the BD version? It'll ship with HD extras, like a video called "Behind the Apex".
BUT BUT BUT $40 am cry! This game is totally worth it, Prologue or not. Haters commence your tearing!!

See, the thing is con, that is simply your opinion. Stop mocking those who think otherwise. Not cool, man.
With that said, GT5: Prologue sure does offer a lot of content for a demo.
Just kidding, don't get mad.

No, not really.
I'm sure you paid $60 for the Halo 3 demo that came out with the Crackdown minigame.
Just saying, 99% of the people who said it was a 'demo' didn't know jack shit about the game, so yea, I'm mocking them. They didn't even know the game featured an online component.
I'm mocking the ignorant who jumped in the GT5: P threads minutes after they were created, crying about a $40 price tag for a 'demo' without knowing anything about it.
That said, I already own the JPN version, but I'd be more than happy to re-invest in the NA version.
REV - Yea man, kind of sucks that there are no Labmo's. Maybe next GT? I suppose it boils down to how deep Polyphony's pockets are. Risk vs Reward.

Well then, I disagree, kind sir.
Do you know the definition of an opinion? I'm sure you do, but just in case you forgot (pay particular attention to #2):
1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.
2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.
3. the formal expression of a professional judgment.
We've already had this discussion, so I'll make it short and sweet. Whether or not you feel the $40 that GT5: Prologue costs is justified by the amount of content that comes on the demo is a matter of opinion. If you feel that this demo warrants the $40 price tag, great. However, there are bound to be others that do not feel the same way, and they are not 'wrong.'
Your opinion is heavily biased at this point, and some of your statements are ridiculously incorrect. The fact alone that you are referring to one of the best games of 2007 as a "minigame," is more than enough evidence to support this.
Personally, it is hard for me to justify paying $40 now, when I know I will be shelling out an additional $60 for the game itself upon release. How you can be fine with paying $40 twice is beyond me. Come launch of GT5: Prologue, I'm going to check what I can get it for with my discount. If it is $30 or less, I will probably pick it up. If it is going to be >$30, I'll just be patient.

If you buy prolouge you should get 40 off the real game, because you are paying for the same shit twice.

My point exactly. Plus, $40 seems like a steep price for what, 5-10% of the what will be the full game?

Or you preorder the full game and pay 20 up front for the prologue and then 40 more when gt5 comes out.

Hey guy's, cry moar.
'waaaaaah waaaaah'.
Someone call the Waaaaambulance.
I bought Forza 1 on X-Box, and then when I bought Forza 2, it was like, a lot of the same game. I think they should have traded some of the price on Forza 1, since was essentially 40% of Forza 2.
Your tears of agony touch my heart so strongly.
Edit: Oh, and lol if you think Crackdown was 'one of the best games of 2007'. Especially since there were so many you didn't play. Victory.
