Looking at the screens again, I'm shocked how much detail is in the gun. They even modeled the EO Tech very accurately with the NV adjustment buttons...freaking wow.

That is dam nice looking. From what little it shows it looks much better then the current king of PS3 fps (CoD4) IMHO.

This game is clearly head and shoulders above anything on any other platform, sans Crysis.

Killzone 2 Delayed
Killzone 2 Delayed
Guerrilla's highly anticipated shooter slips out of 2008.
by Chris Roper
May 6, 2008 - For those of you wondering why Sony would pit Killzone 2 against Resistance 2 this fall/winter, wonder no longer. At its PlayStation Day in London, Sony announced today that Killzone 2 would be hitting the PlayStation 3 in February of 2009. No immediate reasons for the delay were given, though the game is playable at the event and we'll have new details and hands-on later today, so stay tuned.

I honestly think the 'delay' is nothing more than tactical. With Resistance 2 coming out in November, it wouldn't be good to have KZ2 release around the same time, especially since Sony is banking on both games being big hits.
Especially after I've seen how freaking great the game looks now, 9 months away from release.
I don't mind though. I've got MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm 2, Resistance 2, MGO (full release) and many other games to keep my PS3 occupied until then.

Hahaha! Those scum suckers at EB Games wanted me to put a down on KZ2 since of course it was supposed to come out in April.

I think it's funny that "future soldiers" are still using M4 variants for weapons like that LR 300, and Eotech sights. Oh well, they do look good.

^^ Those were my thoughts exactly, but I don't mind, they are familiar weapons to me, lol, so it's all good. I think maybe they did that because it would make for easier reference material? Who knows. Looks damn good though.
