the first vegas wasn't all that, but i've disliked r6 titles in the past and they've redeemed themselves.. i'll probably rent first this time around. i had forgotten they make just an alright one now and again & bought vegas before playing it.

well if you didn't like the first one, the chances are you probably won't like the 2nd one. Everything about the 2nd one is the same except the 2nd one has a coop story mode. So now you can advance the game with 2 players online. I think that's a major point in FPS game. If only all FPS's had coop story mode, the game would be so much better imo.

Anyways, my brother got the original for Chirstmas, but I have yet to play it!  I've just been too busy lately.

no idea, i've never played the original. But a lot of people say that it looks the same and it plays exactly the same with a few diferent modifications in the new one.
But, it's a really fun game tho. 
I read they're shipping it with a bonus offer, a code to unlock the comcast map,  that map is stupid. But it's really hard playing that map via terrorist hunt tho.

That's what I've been hearing as well!
I might pick it up, but it won't be for a while.

So I checked this out from work the other day.
Then took it back 30 minutes later. Tried out the PS3 version after that. Same result.
Fucking sucks, IMO. So bad after having played CoD4.
