Reggie Fils-Aime: Nintendo to Announce 'Big Game' at E3
E3 doesn't arrive until July, but it's never too early to start the hype. Nintendo is promising a major game announcement for the show.

As Nintendo enjoys another clear victory in February game sales, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has already hinted at big things to come later in the year. Nintendo has been relatively quiet about its game lineup in 2008. Beyond heavy hitters like Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit, little is known about the title slate the company has planned to further drive Wii and DS adoption – particularly for the second half.
Speaking to GameTrailers TV, Fils-Aime hinted at a "big game" for the holidays to be announced at this year's E3 in July. The Nintendo audience has been somewhat divided between the casual crowd and the hardcore gamers (who get meaty offerings only once in a while), but this Nintendo title is supposed to appeal to both segments.
Fils-Aime also mentioned that a Wii Music game would likely be discussed at E3, but the "big game" could be anything from another Zelda to Animal Crossing or something entirely new. At this point, it's all just speculation.
