Apple Shows Off iPhone Games, $199 iPhone
The next big thing or the next big bust in games? Only time will tell, but Apple showed off some of the first titles for the iPhone and unveiled a $199 8GB iPhone.

Today at the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference 2008, the first iPhone games were shown off to the general public. Super Monkey Ball, which was previously announced, will use the iPhone's tilt sensor for movement. The game will be available when the App Store launches for $9.99.
Pangea Software was also on hand to show off Cro-Mag Rally a "prehistoric kart racer" and a 3D puzzle title Enigmo. These games will retail for $9.99 as well. Digital Legends Entertainment came on to announce a brand new title. Called Kroll, the game is a 3D action-adventure game in a fantasy universe that is slated for a September release.
Apple also announced a new iPhone enabled with 3G and GPS, which will release in 8GB and 16GB models for $199 and $299 on July 11. While some may take these announcements as signs that the iPhone will overtake the DS, we here at GameDaily BIZ would beg to differ.
