Anyone know of a good ipod recovery program? My ipod isnt showing my mp3s and itunes is telling me to restore it. I dont wanna lose my stuff, anyone ran into this problem before? when i check my space i can see that my files are in the ipod still because of the memory usage.

i had the same problem. i ended up wiping the ipod clean and restoring it back to its factory settings. luckily i have all my music still on my harddrive so i didnt lose anything.
try disconnecting your ipod and closing itunes. keep your ipod connected to your computer and go into the folders via windows explorer. i dont remember which folder the mp3's are in but they should be in there.. copy them all out to your harddrive, restore your ipod then add them to your itunes library. re-sync and you should be good to go.
BTW get T.O. outta your sig.. its making me sick

or make a folder somewhere. So you didnt keep these files on your c drive. if you did then restoring your ipod wont delete them off your c drive. just off the ipod
