New iPods (iPod "Touch")
Apple has revamped their line-up once again:
Touch includes a 1" larger screen then the Video iPods (now renamed "Classic") and is Wi_fi enabled, Classic has eliminated the 30G size and has come out in 80 & 160(!) sizes.
The Nano has also been revamps, and the Shuffle is now offered in more colors.
Those are the ultra generalized basics of the new line-up.

BTW: Scroll down to the bottom of any of the type specific web pages and there should be a comparion chart between all fo the new iPods.

BTW: The Shuffle stayed at the same MSRP as before, the 80G Classic is now the same price as the previous 30G Vid. iPod model, the basic Nano has dropped $50 and gained features, etc.
So it seems like Apple is giving more features for slightly less clams. I guess that's a good way to: take the steam out of other competitors new items, suck in on the fence consumers, and getting current iPod owners to upgrade their gear.

I just recently purchased a 4GB nano from radio shack but luckily they have a 30 day return policy so I'll be returning it and getting the 80GB classic probably

well i'm not much of a "music on-the-go" person but I can use it at work and I listen to such a variety of music i decided to pick one up. i live in modesto, ca and i had a really hard time finding one. the only ipods I could find left were the shuffles which were too small. on Sunday, i found a 2GB nano at radio shack so after much debating, i just decided to get that one. well later on that day, I was going through another town close by and decided to stop by Kmart and see if they had any. Sure enough, they had a 4GB nano in blue which is what i really wanted. I get it and plan on returning the 2GB to radio shack. I guess they have a pretty good 30 day return policy. you can actually open it and use it and as long as you have everything it came with when you return it, they'll take it back
so yesterday i see they're coming out with these new ones and decide i'm going to get a classic. I've never used itunes or dl'ed music before so i'm messing around with the 2GB one to get used to it and I will return it sometime later this week

There's no large retail stores like Best Buys, Circuit City, Target, etc. in your neck of the woods? Us SoCal peeps always make fun of Modesto being "cow pastures", "you farm our food", etc. but I didn't think it'd be that bad.
Obviously you get access to the www, so there's always online e-tailers including Apple's own site for you to buy from.
