Please include as much info on the scam artist as you can. (Email address, real address, screen name, real name, phone numbers and so on.....)

If you are on this list, you can make good with the seller and be removed from this list.

Also, buyers and sellers might want to check out www.heatware.com . It is a site that allows you to leave feedback for transactions over the internet. They also have quite a comprehensive ban list that buyers could check out before making a big purchase.

Also, I encourage discussion, however I will edit the posts so that the thread is made up entirely of banned people. I will clean it out every month or so.

WAYS To Prevent getting ripped off.

Buy from Official SH Sponsors.
Do not buy from new users.
Do not buy from users with just a few posts.
Do not buy from someone without going back and reading some of there previous sales or feedbacks. Ask for proof of good feedback from the forum.

Get all details , phone number , name & address , confirm it. Call them or have them call you. Get an email from them. Goto anywho.com and try reverse lookup to see if this person exsists.

Ask for any sort of credentials. Links to an ebay account for feedback. Verify the same email address.

After you buy from a user

Go back to there thread , give a detail of the transaction. If its a Good , neutral or Bad Experience.

This way we can rate people and know if someone was a good buy or not , and if the item has been sold.

Do NOT buy anything from JDM1. These people are unscrupulous and do not follow up on their promises! It has been 9 months since I ordered a B18C swap from Shaan and I still have not received all the parts supposedly included with the swap. In addition, I ordered an OBD1 swap and received an OBDII. Then they expected me to pay to ship all the incorrect stuff back before they would ship replacements. I am seeking legal action against JDM1. They cost me an additional $2000 in parts for the defective or missing parts.

A word to the wise, don't waste your money and time.

I have never received proof that the engine is legal. I suspect that it is not and have submitted my info to federal authorities, as the engine was shipped across international boundaries

I won this auction on ebay.. Item#1808398058 and after I sent the money.. no word from him in months. Luckily it was just $26 but that's $26 on another mod. Ebay charges $25 for an investigation so I won't get no more than $1.50 out of it.

There is a guy named Robert Marlow Kinkaid. He used to live in the Denver area, but last word is that he moved to Austin, TX. Not sure if this is true or not. Anyway, DON'T Buy from him...not sure what his email or anything is because he changed it frequently. He and this other guy named Jay Powell attempted to start a business in Denver area, called Show-N-Go Racing. From the stories I collected, jay was legit, but Rob was stealing peoples money and not sending products. Using it to support his wife and 2 kids. Last I heard him and his bro, not sure what his name is, were trying to relocate the business to AUstin. Just heads up...he'll get you. He seems like a legite and cool character.....he'll manipulate anything's that said. Don't buy from him, if you know whats best.

I ordered a ground effects kit from visracingsports.com. When it came to me it was the wrong front bumper for my crx...they sent me a civic front bumper. I called them back the first day I received the kit and told them it did not fit. I talked to "Joe" and he said i would have to send pictures. I sent pictures within the first week. I sent them and he couldn't find the pictures. A month later he said he couldn't receive them b/c hotmail does not let you send attached files. Next thing I know Joe does not work for Vis anylonger. Now I talking to Peter, he tells me to send the pics again...I do and again he tells me he hasn't received them so I post them on webshots.com and send him the web address. He veiws them and tells me I have to go to hyperformance (the local shop with whom they work with). So I go and they varified it did not fit. I call back this week and and he tells me it has been too long and there is nothing he can do for me...he said their policy is 7 days, no returns, refunds, exchanges, or credits. It has been too long to get my money back through my credit card co. and they still have me in their computer. Fuck that stupid company. Manager wouldn't talk to me either and Joe is no longer working for vis so they can't verified I talked with "Joe."
