92400 on factory brake pads!
i stay on top of maintenance pretty regular and i noticed that the brake pads were getting pretty worn. i replaced them today with ceramics and there were still approx 20% life left w/92400 miles on them. they were the factory brake pads, i don't know what material they are made out of, ie- metallic, semi metallic or ceramic. but 92400 miles?? wow! what kinda mileage are you guys getting out of your stock pads?

funny, but not true. the element has made many trips to the mountains, which give the brakes quite a work out. both myself and my wife have lead feet and drive in traffic daily. as far as downshifting, our element is automatic, no need to down shift.

Funny thing is mine was close to yours and I swapped at 85K but I did noticed brakes seemed to have life left. I am a grandma driver and am proud of it so I know why mine lasted, I am more impressed with your life considering the hilly aspect you described.
