U.S. Honda fans have been in despair ever since Honda decided to keep its super sexy Civic hatchback off these shores. Now it drives the spike further into our hearts with this rendering of the new hot hatch. Honda will unveil a new generation Civic in 2010 and according to AutoExpress will be inspired by the OSM concept seen at the British Motor Show.
The future Civic hatchback will carry over from the current one, most notably the trademark single strip light cluster at the rear. Euro Honda fans will also see a that the split rear screen has been dropped to improve visibility. Shallow glass areas, broad shoulders and a nose-down stance give this three-door model a sporty and purposeful look.
It will also get a new 1.5-liter IMA hybrid engine with more than 150bhp and sub-CO2 120g/km emissions. Could this also then be a preview of the new CRX?
ewww wtf is will hondas getting uglier every year. give me back the rsx and fuck civics. only good lucking civic is the 4 door si and even that has a disgusting interior.

I'd love to have the first gen RSX, as far as Hondas go. I don't really dig the head/taillights on the second gen as much. Same goes for accords too, in terms of them getting uglier and uglier. I dug the prototype when I first saw it and then I saw it up close and in person and I think I might've thrown up a lil in my mouth. Pretty much all the Hondas I'm interested in at this point would be used, cuz I hate the new accord and TSX which are two of my faves and the RSX doesn't look as good as it did...

i love the 05/06 rsx. the lighs and tails are sexy as well as the lip kit. it looks so smooth and sexy but yet still intimidating and sophisticated. didn't need a body kit or wing. but the hondas keep getting uglier. the only thing nissan has screwed up on is the sentra. everything else has gotten better looking.
