thanks me my dad and uncle who is a landscaper did it, it took us like a year cause we would do it little day by day took us like a month to dig the hole lol. It was bitch carrying in all those rocks from the front yard to the back.

aside from my fish tank...my backyard has a koi pond too, my dad built it a few years ago when we moved to this house...everything was done ourselves cheapass asians

the first 2 pics are of the pond and the last pic is my new orandas in their side breeding tank you can see it next to the pond next to it.





the orandas in the breeding tank is there to enhance groth faster. half of them are in the tank and i have an additional 12 in my 60 gallon tank at home.

i think my damn plecosamous is killing my goldfishes.

i moved it into the pond for now. anyone had problems with the algea eater killing? i found 3 dead fishes this morning thought they died from natural causes. den tonight i looked at the tank..fine!! den 30 mins later i see my algea eater sucking on a half dead goldfish.

dont know wtf is going on...never had problems before but not sure if the fish was already dying or if the pleco killed it.

you eever tried using snails? just one snail?

i leave algae in the pond for the fish to eat in the wintertime cause the top layer freezes over and u cant feed them.

Nation: You don't have a prob w/ neighborhood raccoons or cats nabbing your fish? I know too many peeps in Calif. who've had that problem. Most have a netting or wooden lattice over thier ponds for the majority of the time.

They look like crazed reptile-fish, but they seem so docile. I guess in the end, food is food.

dont know if the pleco killed it or it was being a vulture. so i removed it from my tank for now and thinking on what to do.

They aren't hunters. To me they're just bottom feeders. I'd say he was taking advantage of a corpse.

Can't have too many in the same tank though. They'll start to fight with each other.

it isnt the plecos cause they wont mess with fish unless theyre the full grown monster 2 ft long edition

well damn....he could be then... cause when they get bigger they tend to like to eat the slime off of big bodied slow moving fish like goldfish
