my watercooling system has a kink in it so when I put both processors at full load it overheats.....new piping is on order though so i'll be back in teh game soon.

I've heard about these types of net linkage efforts, I don't feel comfortable giving a foreign program that much access to my computer though...
How legit is this? is it only helping an organization save money? what exactly is being accomplished by 'understanding' how proteins fold/how is that helping to find a 'cure' for diseases? what is your 'computer power' contributing to the cause that they cannot accomplish with their own computers/resources? You do know the PS3 thing is a Page Ranking stunt right? many breakthroughs have been made in Alzheimer's for example, by researchers that do not seem to be associated with this program, what kind of contribution did it make to those breakthroughs?
These are the initial things I'd like to know before I would even think of giving that a shot.

i am at 4900/5000 now...i bump up the cpu usage when every I leave the room, so hopefully i'll be getting at 5000 with in a day or two from now?

the thing i find funny is that when my computer is completely idle it doesn't bump it up to 100% usage and I am running the multi core version.... mmmm

Wholy crap it ways the first WU wont be done til Dec! Wow how can I speed this up?

CPU Usage Percent.
I have mine set at first eye, and it takes about 10 days to do one WU

I got my dual core running at full capacity now. I wonder if it will show up as one or two processors for my dual core chip...
