Hey I know that the public school system in the ghetto isn't that great, but at least try to keep up with the context of the thread. I never boasted about my material possessions nor assets. I was merely replying to those who scoffed at a Mustang being "cheap", yet they own cars that are worth about the same as the same year Mustang. And in reference to my 911 TT, well I'm not the one who's bragging about owning a 911 TT, oh wait...he (skiboy) was only bragging about being approved for a bank loan. LMAO. last, yes i went to a public school in the ghetto. i have never lived in a ghetto, but the only gifted HS in my area happens to be in the 'hood. also, i have been out of high school since 1996, so how many credit hours do you have?

Technically its called the Fox3 chassis. I still dont know why its called that and I think most other Stangers dont know either. The question has come up on Stangnet at least a few times that I've seen and there havent been any definite answers.

It's just a name or code for the chassis/platform/body style on the 79-93 stangs and nothing more. That's how i think of it.

Actually, I think MLX was the chassis code. I don't know where 'Fox' body came from. That term is shared with some of the 80's T-birds, isn't it? Maybe Fox was the design Engineer or something?

I'm not going to call BS, just yet on this. But I'd like to see some sort of validation. You don't just throw around terms like "An 8 sec fox bodied Mustang..." You're talking huge cube, twin turbo, Duttwieler (or that guy with the ant-eater intake?), territory. I highly doubt someone named 'princess' has a car like this. Not to say she doesn't, but I'd like to see some pictures, timeslips, etc...

BTW, I've been thinking of picking up an 89-93 as a project car.

I'm pointing out to him that he should not be laughing at a Mustang being cheap when he's in such a luxurious $2,000 1990 Integra and while the ported alluminum heads alone on my car is worth more than his entire car.
