I watched the same show, it was a huge engine but, the uss rosevelt (the aircraft carrier) has two engines that generate of 250 thousand hp each. Now thats some power. Hmmm i wonder if i can fit it in my civic :-). Probably not, but i could always try.

Hyundai isn't a good car company yet. However, they show improvement. Go check out hyundai's car 10.. no not even 10, 5 years ago. sucks ass.
Its just matter of time hyundai would catch up.
Perhaps, its one of the biggest company in korea, and hyundai makes just everything else too. And they are Number 1 in other stuff.

Another thing even the v8 powered toyota celica will never run with the pro 5.0 guys if they were given the same set of rules. Us import guys are allowed a lot more leeway in modifications that the domestic guys. if they were allowed the kind of weights we were they would be in the 5s in pro 5.0 simple fact. The domestics have just as much technology as we do. vtec is great but really only for stock or street cars. If you look at strip cars vtec doesnt really make that much difference because with the right cams and alot of boost you wont want the overlap the vtec offers and dont need any more torque when launching a fwd 4 cyl car. a properly built non vtec engine of the same displacement will make almost as much power as a vtec turbocharged engine. look at the gm ecotec engines they are running. 1st year out and they kick ass. no vtec.

i dont' think i'm the ignorant one since i'm not here comparing 8 cylinder to 4 cylinders. its like comparing a yale graduate student to a bum. so how ignorant is that? besides, this thread is about hyundai, not how bad ass you are trying to make v8's look good. remember, we talking about hyundai and the ship's motor, not v8 vs i4 or whatever the fuck you comparing. my points, who cares, there are already enough import vs domestics on this board and we don't need another one from another ignorant person.

sweet, i notice a lot of people doing that, and it puzzles me why some of them have drag slicks on the back. then i learned they put in 350's. but this was a while back, so do you have big drag slicks on the back of your truck?
