well considering they are the top shipmakers in the world for transport and exporting goods....the stuff you are using now are probably transported using the ships that they built....their engineers are very intelligent...who gives a shit about building a $10,000 dollar car when they can build a 200 million dollar ship...the cars they manufacture are just for the gas money...the big business are building the rigs...
