It's Saturday through Tuesday at the Anaheim Convention Center, right next to Disneyland. I'm going Tuesday, which gives me time to throw together my Crono costume.

I had a chance to go SUnday but passed it up. If I don't get out to Anaheim today ot tomorrow it'll be the first AX held in LA that I haven't attended.

Pretty much 50/50 about going.

Did you go bow down to the CLAMP ladies, or Hyde from L'Arc?

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'm going either because I really don't have time to make a costume.

The costume ball was on Saturday I believe.

I heard the dance was actually pretty good with 2 DJ groups, free light sticks, a handful of b-boy/girl groups putting on displays, etc.

my girl was there, shes in Common Ground, a dance team that performed.

My buddies spoke with them at the dance on Saturday. CG is the ones out of Irvine right? I heard they put on a good show.

yea theyve come along way since they started (my gf was one of the original members of cg)..

your friend should really try out! im usually there at tryouts pretending like im a judge..its kinda fun. it requires A LOT of time, but the people on the team are really really close..its kind of like a family. I havent been around much to hang out with them since i moved back to the south bay, but i try to come as often as possible!

ill put a good word in for her if she does try out (aug or sept i think)

South Bay = Torrance/Gardena/PV/Hermosa? or SD?

If it's Torrance, the instructor over at the Torrance cultural center is from Rock Steady (New York). I guess he's pretty good. My buddy also has peeps come by her house during the week and they practice in a small group.
