there were, like, two songs on the English version that were any good.
The song when Takeshi and Ryosuke are talking shit, on Akina, and the one that Takumi was listening to, driving home after beating Keisuke. And, I'd like to know how to get them both.
The rest of the music in the english version is shit. Original Initial D soundtrack, ftw...

Do they use the same music as the original Japanese version? I recall them changing up the soundtrack.

But if they do use the same music... the scene where Takumi has spoken with Ryosuke after having defeating him on Akina is "Take me Higher" by move. I'm not totally sure of the other song you're talking about. It could be "Bust the Future Wall" but I'd need to rewatch the scene to know for sure.

no.... I was talking about the English version soundtrack. Completely different, unfortunately.
Anyways... the songs; they're both rap songs (which is odd, cuz I don't like rap)... the one where Takumi roasts Keisuke, then drives straight home... that was "Best Kept Secret". The other song (Takeshi & Ryosuke pissing eachother off) was "Up In Here"... not to be confused with the DMX song, btw... I can't recall the artists for either, but they were the only two tracks on the English version that aren't painful to hear.
