I've been kinda going through some old series and it makes me nostalgic for some of the good opening and closing themes from shows of the past.
What are some of your favs?
The one couple that stand out to me right now are:
1. Hunter x Hunter 1st opening - Ohayou
2. One Piece closing (during the Alabasta/Vi Vi adventure) - Glory
3. Both Galla closing themes from I.D. - Kimi ga Iru and Kiseki no Hana.
All are good karaoke songs if you can read Japanese quickly. I can't read very well at all, but after having the songs on CD helps with memorization.
Initial D's Kima ga Iru is probably one of my favorites. That's the end of second stage with the replica AE86 right? I'm not sure which One Piece ending you are referring to, but there's definately one that I like. When I get off of work, I'll have to go through my One Piece episodes to see which is which.
EDIT: There's one from Gundam Seed Destiny that I like too. I forgot if it was the beginning or ending.

^ It's pretty far along. Maybe 95+ episodes in. It's when the crew have already been in Alabasta for quite awhile. I think they'd already escaped from Crocodile's cage w/ Smoker. The closing animation is of Vi Vi and the duck standing in the desert then Luffy and the crew pass by.
I was a fan of Bleach when it was purely a manga, but when it started getting produced into a anime I lost a lot of my interest in it. Was the first opening theme the Orange Range song?
I also always liked the closing theme to the original Macross anime. It might be that I don't care for the song too much, but teamed up with the person looking through the photo album, I find it strangely nostalgic. Kinda a look back and an imagination of what could have been for Hikaru & Minmay. I shed a single tear for sentimental anime of yore. E-sniff.
