Yeah, my friend went to Japan a while ago, and she has always been into cars and anime, and SHE GOT TO GO TO AKAGI! ON A SATURDAY NITE! She said some major badass cars and really good drivers were there, as well as the normal compliment of n00bs, but damn, those are some fucking cool pics. Thanks everyone

Man, I almost got to go to Mt. Akagi when I went to Japan a few springs ago. But it turned out to be a crazy long drive, so we just turned around and came back.. One day I'll definitely go back and see all the ID places. Heh, maybe as a graduation present.

i thought japanimation was in the mind's eye, not based on real life. is this story true? i've seen the 1st 8 shows, thx to www.imesh.com i started looking back to see how many threads here are about Initial D & it's like 50% is on this show. it's good, but it's not at all perfect like Akira or Princess Mononoke - i guess the TV shows are done differently

me and my buddy are going to japan may 20th when were out of college (big time initial d fans) and we rented a 240SX. They didn't have an eighty six:D. We got the whole package deal from travelocity for $1000.00 per person and got the car from budget. I can't wait to go there and drift. it's about 2 hours from where we'll be staying (downtown tokyo).

Hardcore to the max! :D Take lots of pics and videos...
