Japanese TV cancels 'School Days' finale

KYOTO, , 19 (UPI) -- A Japanese TV network will not air the final episode of the violent anime "School Days" after a 16-year-old girl killed her police officer father with an ax.
Television Kanagawa made the decision Tuesday not to broadcast the finale, which depicts a teenage girl behaving violently, in the wake of the real-life slaying of a Kyoto Prefectural Police officer, the Mainichi Daily News has reported.
"We ask viewers for their understanding," a station official said.
Chiba Television Broadcasting Corp. and Aichi Television Broadcasting Co., which also carry the drama, are reportedly planning to cancel the episode as well.
Officials at the satellite broadcaster AT-X, which airs anime restricted to viewers over the age of 15, said they were still considering whether to screen the final episode.
Based on a computer game, "School Days" chronicles a love triangle between three high school students: Makoto Ito, Kotonoha Katsura and Sekai Saionji.
Episodes have aired on Television Kanagawa and other UHF stations since July.
BTW: Chiba = East of Tokyo, and Aichi is in the Nagoya area. So they're stations that broadcast in pretty urban areas. Stations that reach a lot of viewers.

Man, I got around to watching it finally..
All I can say..is I want more series like this..show them to me...all of them.
