Naruto Tops Japanese Box Office, Bumps Star Wars off Top Spot

I'm kinda surprised that WoW's has been out in Japan longer then SW:3. In this day an age of simultaneous releases, I thought Japan would have had the same opening date as the US.

Hopefully FMA will drop outta the theatres ASAP so we can get a quick DVD release of that movie.

The second Naruto movie opened this week in Japan, taking the top spot at the Japanese box office. Meanwhile Trainman finally fell from the top 10 and Konjiki no Gash Bell!!: Attack of the Mechavulacan opened in 8th position.

Don't laugh at Pikachu! it's still on the WB and look how well the games do on the sales charts every month.

Pokemon still is a goldmine for Nintendo.

Spring of 06.

That's pretty much what happened after the last movie came out. The movie was a summer release, but the DVD wasn't for sale until April of the next year (this year).

basically but the U.S version is stupid, cuz their voice don't match and they renamed it to Zatch Bell for some weird reason. The japanese version has to be one of the funniest series i've ever watched.
