Witchblade

http://weedy.1.vg:8394/index.html?search=Witchblade
(this uses .mkv files and the h.264 codec.
you can get media player classic here Windows 2k / XP
or if youre running an older version of windows Windows 98 or ME
and the matroska pack full here http://packs.matroska.org/latest/Matroska_Pack_Full.exe )

this seems like a decent series so far. it's only a few episodes in though.
i dont know alot about the whole witchblade franchise beyond the brief tv series on tnt i think it was.

the basic premise is, there's an ancient artifact which through history affixes itself to women it deems worthy & bestows them w/ super-human armor/weapons/strength/etc.. not sure what else it can do since it's so early.

this series takes place in 22nd century japan & has some great accident occuring 6 years before the first episode where Masane (the lead character & bearer of the witchblade) and her baby were the only survivors. it leaves her w/ amnesia so she cant remember what happened or how she survived. then there seem to be two corporations which want to control her (since they cant really control the witchblade, seeing as it chooses who can use it) for their own means, what they are it's too early to tell.

anyway, worth a look if you like the whole sci-fi futuristic action genre & have some time to kill.
