Dirt cheap 91' Accord.
Well I'll introduce myself a bit.. I'm an older guy from Picture Butte Alberta, I've been working on cars for 20 years (mostly domestic).. I thought I would join this forum to gain some knowledge about Hondas, because I've never owned one till now.
I bought myself a 91' Accord LX the other day for $300 bucks..
The alternator had went, and it was trailered by the previous owner. Somehow they managed to rip the complete exhaust off unloading it from the trailer.
Hence the reason I got it so cheap...
It has 290,000kms on the clock, and I believe them to be mostly highway? It's bone stock. 2.2 16v, auto.
I tossed a new alternator at it, and charged the battery (it even held a charge). The car runs like an olympic champ!! It has a slough of new parts on it, including a new starter, cv joints, brakes, and ignition.. It also came with a brand new set of winter tires, and a set of summers.
I tossed a strait pipe I made on it for now (it's ridiculously loud), but was gonna buy a stainless kit off ebay for cheap.
I have lots of questions about some stuff on this car, and hope you all can help me out.
