Anyone Seen Carnivale on HBO?

I don't have HBO but I remember seeing previews for this show back before it came out and I thought it looked pretty good. I believe Best Buy sells the whole first season for $84 but I found it on amazon for only like $20.
Has anyone seen this show, and if so what did you think?

$20 bucks, that's a good deal there. Yeah, Carnivale was actually a great show, too bad HBO cancelled it.......

what exactly was it about? i remember thinking that it was a little sick and twisted based on the previews i saw. have you seen Rome?

Carnivale was most definitely a weird twisted show.....The premise of show focused on good versus evil with a religious feel to it but the twist to it was that the majority of the characters were people from a traveling carnival. Yes, I have watched a couple of episodes of Rome, but I never really quite got into it......
