O man this movie owns. So lets get this streight the memorys that he couldnt remember were because he took controll of himself in the past. So what I dont get is this. All the events that unfolded originally were a result of him changing the past then, because if he never changed the past originally he wouldnt have had the black outs. Example being when he first got the knife and held it and didnt know how the hell he got the knife. So the character in the movie was a product of growing in a altered time line himself. So then are there multiple time lines in the movies and all he is doing by changing an event is creating a completely different time line or is there one static time line and the reason he grew up in the shitty time line was a result of him dieing from going back to much. So then he couldnt change the time line any more because he died so it played out in the way the movie started with the time line he originally fucked up. So he had to live through it rediscover that he could change the past then alter it.

ok nm i just answered my own question :clap

On to the next thing on my mind about the movie. If the father could do it as well then its an inherited trait so when he went back as a child and was talking to the father the father recognized that he could leap backwards as well thats why he snapped. So his dad got stuck at a point where he couldnt hop backwards any more. Thats why he was in the institution and that is one of the three only possible endings to the situation they were both in.

1. he dies or is left brain dead from going backwards.
2. he is put in a position where he cant leap backwards like in the institution
3. he stops leaping backwards

yeh it was on the dvd anyways this is what happens,whens hes in the mental hospital and all the cops/security are trying to get in the room he
turn on the projector and its a tape of him being born,and he goes back to that time and you see him in his moms stomach and the doctors that are doing the pregnancy see him on a screen take the umblilical cord and put it around his neck and he kills himself.

And did you guys notice what the narrative (his mom) was saying? I had a theory that the other two miscarriages were siblings that had realized the same thing as he did, and killed themselves as well. It may or may not be true, but it seems like it may have happened...

Sidenote: Movie was shot in Vancouver.. the directors totally dissed my city by saying it was full of crack heads n shit on the DVD.. well thats what I heard in the newspaper. haha cuz they went by the downtown eastside (ghetto) or something where its not as nice as the rest of the city lol.. haters
