I watched the Japanese one and yea what do you expect its an American show in Japan. O and I thought it was gonna be a bunch of Japanese Show they were gonna display and have American people do, I didnt know it was a reality show. But the games they did was not bad, I can do without the drama and I just want to see them do human tetris!
been watchin Wipeout but ISaJGS has been tough to keep up with b/c I've been into hell's kitchen. Now that that's over, I can watch both :wootz

Wipeout is an MXC (which itself is a reproduction of something castle) ripoff, it's kinda funny but the shit they do pales in comparison to MXC. MXC was funny as shit because it was dubbed and the contestants were all regular people who had slim to none athletic ability. Where the fuck is sink or float? Oh yea, can't do shit thats dangerous in the USA.

Wipeout was a dud last night with the "awards" show. But the final for "I Survived..." also aired last night so that was cool.
There's a couple things that bugged me about the finals: one was the fake looking ceremony. It was pretty obvious to me that there was a huge number of plants in the crowd. That was pretty cheesey. Also I wished they showed the competitors that had gotten eliminated.

Hey ND! Do you even think that the "big balls" are even the most entertaining obstacle? I get more enjoyment in watching people getting mashed jumping over the revolving bar or thrown off of the spinning platform.

I used to watch MXC all the time but haven't really watched either of these two. However, I happened to go sit in the break room for a while at work yesterday cuz we were slow and caught the awards show. It was pretty lame, but watchin that dude do the splits on the ball obstacle was pretty F'in funny You know that shit had to hurt like hell

Yea both of those are better and the big balls get fucked when they get muddy. And WTF is this shit where they are allowed to get back on the obstacle and keep trying it. Thats why MXC was good, you got one try to make it, which allowed more people to try, thus more opportunities to see people eat shit. That also keeps the obstacles clean so the next person actually has a chance to make it.
