02 V6 accord 5spd manual conversion

Trying to find info on swapping 02 V6 accord auto-manual conversion. I tried the search kept pulling up 4 cyl swaps. What donor car would be best for the swap? Will the newer accords with v6 be compatible?

too much money. best bet is to sell and buy another car that has manual.

look into TL/CL if your still interested and have around $5k+.

Considered that before in the past but I just paid the car off 02 accord with only 65k miles. I think I would rather pay the 5g's then have another car payment.

If you want a manual transmission for a 6th gen AV6 look for a CL-S tranny, however you will not find a 5spd it will be a 6spd. There is a "shopping" list for this swap it is located @ www.6thgenaccord.com look for mikeymike he has done this swap as well as many others. His public profile has a link for the list.

Turbo it while your at it.

If your gonna drop some cash on manual conversion for that car get it turbocharged too. Might as well go balls out. If you take your time getting some of the parts it can cost you about 20% less but may take a while to get everything rounded up.

Or you could get a fair older manual vehicle for cheap just to drive when you feel the need to actually control your car.

The only 5 speed conversion I've seen done is from a mid 90s legend, 6 speed is the most popular from the CL-S as was said.

Slow 09 Corolla (great gas mileage)
Quick 07 335i (Vishnu Stg1)
Quicker 07 Ducati 1098S (Two Brothers dual slip ons)
Even quicker 05 WRX (Mean Tranny + Big Motor + Big Turbo + Meth = YIKES)

WTH??? The older I get the slower my cars are getting

Some Previous Rides: 91 3G Lude Built H23 with T3/T04e, 88 Guards Red 930 Turbo Slantnose(AKA the ticket magnet), 53 Bel Air 502 with an 8-71 and juice. Quite a few others, but not enough room. Oh an 01 V6 Accord too, probably how I got that funny title.
