Someone else had a thread like this. I'm pretty sure there were some minor modifications needed, but the motor mounts were the same(J series).
Aside from the engine dropping in right your going to need to change/modify your ECU so it will actually use the VTEC. I don't know much about setting up VTEC, though I do know if you have a non VTEC ECU you'll never get VTEC to engauge.

You really must not know 5th gens, They never had J, it was c27a and the only solution is to heavily rewire the car and do a tranny swap. Please do not comment if you don't know what is going on
