2008 EX-L ... any owners in here? - Honda Forum / Acura Forum

I'm considering a new EX-L and would like to hear from current owners.

1) How does it handle in the snow/ice?
2) What kind of mileage are you getting?
3) Any options you really like or wish you got?

i just bought an ex-L w/navi accord coupe a week ago and i never regret anything. first tank got me up to 360 miles. i heard after the break in period, i will be able to drive 400 miles before pump. i really like the blue tooth, hands free, home link (haven't use it yet), premium sound system is good too. i can tell the car to turn on the ac or turn off the cd, etc.. etc... without touching the ac and such. pretty neat feature. i think everything you want in an IS250, you can find it in the top of the line accord excluding the reverse camera

Just picked up an 08 EXL V6 sedan and love it......the remote start is kind of a pain as you cant unlock the doors when the motor is running.....or at least I haven't been able to. Had it in the snow today and it handles really well.....as far as mileage....only have 200 miles so not sure yet

i'm at 600 miles and i cant go over 70 mph. i'm driving like a granny right now to make sure its broken in.

Thanks for the replies, all. I actually got a 2008 TL. I dunno about babying a car while breaking it in... you might wanna give it some higher revs and force it to stay in gear as you 'pull vacuum' (i.e. decelerate via staying in a low gear) which is equally important. I don't want to start a "engine break in" thread here. Just my 2 cents.

Just picked 2008 Accord Coupe EX-L in Belize Blue Pearl 6mt $28000 otd, but have not really got to fiddle with it yet. The wify kind of commandeered it before I could get to it.

I did play with the sound system last night and got my MP3's set up....and boy...is it a killer system. I will post pics with its baby brother (2005 RSX-S) this weekend when I can get them cleaned up. Its been raining down here.

so a car that lists for 28,645 you got out the door including taxes for 28,000.....dang were stiull getting list for our v6 spd mt's....good buy....

My wife is an excellent negotiator when she uses me as leverage. We did the same thing with our RSX-S and got it OTD just under $22,500

oh....we still had to pay taxes btw...... thats not something you can really get away with unless its an older car so I consider it OTD but still 28000 is one hell of a deal.
