98-02 accord v-6 exhaust

Anyone know which exhaust would sound better on a 02 v-6 accord with the option of staying with dual mufflers? I dont want it to make that sick rice burner noise like some 4cyl do, my intake sounds pretty coo but im missing that deep exhaust sound, im most likely going towards GREDDY evo2 or the mx but im hearing some other brands out there i havent even heard of that will make it sound good also so a lil advice would help.

Bolt ons ( go with Greddy Evo or what ever everyone else says)

Custom work,

Go with weapon R get some Dual Dual's (R1 Twin Mini Atoms/G5 Twin Cyborgs($90 ea.) and chop off the pipe right before you reach the Cat(stay legal for emissions) run a strait pipe to the Y and tack on your new exhaust. Find a good welder...Remember to always keep your silencers in your car, to have for any db emergencies. I think that is a great ride and none of that rice rocket crap.

Thumbs up

apexi WS ... it's VERY quiet, and when you get on it, it's very nice and smooth. No rasp, no high pitched whine.... just free flowing exhaust. I have a cold air intake installed and I think that the intake is louder than the exhaust... very nice!! Traveling on the highway it's almost like stock exhaust until you get on it wide open throttle... great!

2002 ACCORD V-6 COUPE

I PUT ON MY APEXI WS 2 EXHAUST AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY LOW TO THE GROUND, I SCRAPE AT ALMOST EVERY DRIVEWAY I GO INTO, I TRIED RAISEING THEM UP BUT THE SWAY BAR GETS IN THE WAY WHEN RAISED UP.
RIGHT NOW ITS LIKE 1/2 INCH AWAY FROM THE SWAY BAR AND IM SCRAPEING ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO TO GET AROUND THIS PROBLEM? I CANT THINK OF ANYTHING. SOMEONE WAS SAYING HEAT THE PIPES AND BEND THE PIPEING, BUT I DONT KNOW IF THAT WILL CHANGE THE SOUND, I DONT WANT IT TO.

bending the pipes won't change the sound, but it could cause flow problems depending on how they're bent. you can however remove the heatshields and add shorter hangers to eliminate the problem. You can also install a cushion between the exhaust and the sway bar and raise it up more as well. Lowered vehicles are prone to these types of problems regardless of the brand exhaust, you install larger pipe you lose that precious space.

I have Dual Greddy EVOs and they have a nice deep tone. Not like those cheap sounding ones. Tanabe Racing Medallion is a good on too.
