ACCORD 99, 6 CYC,

HI i hope everybody doin good. I have 99 honda with 6 cyc from last week the man't req'd light is blinking 10 to 15 times when i start the car before it blinks only 4 0r 5 times like the other lights (abs, battery, etc). but know it will blink for 10 to 15 times then will go away. I just did the oil change yesterday and it's still doin that. please advice on this ..what should i do.

Your manual tells you how to fix this. But in case you dont have it, here ya go.

1. Turn the key off.
2.Press the odometer reset button and hold it down.
3. Turn the key to the ON (not accessories) position.
4. Continue to hold down the reset button for 10-15 seconds. The light will stop.
5. Turn the key off and back on and the light should be gone.

You will have to reset this occasionally. Usually do it when the oil is changed, and it'll come on when it's time to do it again.

Honda Manual

Yeah the maintenance required light is no big deal, just telling you it's time to go and get everything check; oil, tires, etc; it's in the manual.
