Couple quick questions

Hey guys I have been a member for a while here but never really browse in the accord forum...Ok to my point, my dad owns a 99 accord V6 and lately has been haveing a few electrical problems and was wondering if you could help...First his SRS light will flash on and off every few minutes...Any idea why this may be? He has had a surgury and can't fasten his belt, could this be the cause? Next problem is where he goes to turn on the defrost, the display shows it should be blowing on the windshield but in fact it isnt, it keeps blowing out at your face...Any ideas on that one? Thanks for any help you can give...Don't wann bring it to honda and pay hundreds if its a quick fix I can do in an afternoon when I get the chance...Thanks again.

the srs should be warranty, unless it's rodent damage. most likely it's a bad seat belt buckle switch, reguardless of weather he uses the belt or not. it could also be the opds unit, which is covered for 15 years or 100,000 miles i think.

the vent mode motor may be bad. it's a motor that changes vent positions.
