Disabling Alarm

I have a '98 Accord coupe and was wondering if theres a way to disable the alarm system.

I have a key remote and sometimes it doesn't work so the only way to open the door is to use the key, however it sets off the alarm and it takes me a while to get the alarm to stop.

So is there a way I can just disable the alarm?

The remote? its OEM. Kinda old remote which is probably why the panic isn't ALWAYS working.

But still I would like to be able to open the doors with my key w/o having the alarm go off. So I think it's best if I disable the alarm.

So stick it in, unlock it. Let the alarm go off. Stick it in again? and that will turn off the alarm?

Will the fuse have any other connections with any other electronic devices in the car that will be disabled too?
