I run 0w20 in my 00 Odyssey. I use Eneos oil because it is in my opinion one of the best synthetic oil you can get. Its pricey but its worth the money. I extended my oil change intervals with this oil which I have never done.

I just started running that oil over the last few oil changes and we have 150k on it. People will tell you that if you run synthetic oil at that mileage, you will end up with oil leaks. This may be true but only because the oil leak was already there and the cleaning properties of the synthetic oil causes a problem to appear that was already there.

i would not run anything lower than 5w 20.

5w is for cold engine. the 20 is for a warm engine. so 0w 20 won't do anything for a warmed up engine, but the 0w can cause problems because it is so thin on cold engines. why risk it?

0w is like water.
