Question weird issue 98 accord v6

Hi everyone,Gus here,I have a question about my 98 accord v6,the car runs and drives like a brand new car,but recently ive noticed when my engine is warm and restarted it seems to bog,it will start, and it wont stall, but it will idle well below where it should, like a couple hundred rpm,if i oput it in gear,it will drive ok,its happened a few times now,can someone steer me in the right direction,im stumped,Note,it only happens when warm. When started cold, runs perfect. Gus

I'd check out the oil pressure.

check air filter to see if its clogged.

main culprit could be your EGR vavle being filled with carbon.

MAF?

Sounds vaguely familiar. Screws up only when in demand. MAF should be an easy and low cost investigation.

hi guys, thanks for the replies,i forgot to note, ihad the egr kit installed recently, the one with the insert, ill look into the maf sensor, its been cold here recently,so it hasnt really acted up,but when i stop to get gas,it will start up,and seem to rev real low,but it will drive fine and it doesnt stall, the air filter is brand new,new oil,new tranny fluid,i think ill have to wait for the weather to be a little better before i can really diagnose, open to any ideas, thanks,Gus

tech wrench Oil pressure sensor

Had this same thing happen to me in my 98 accord. its the oil pressure sensor going bad. its on top of the oil filter assy and can be replaced by unscrewing it from the assy and screwing another in. can find in any junkyard or honda sells it for $50 MSRP
