your apexi n1 is going to be very loud...it is one of the loudest aftermarket exhausts i have heard...one of my friends had DUAL n1's on his civic at one point...now that was definately loud

but yeah, expect to be heard for sure

Milano97 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
The only illegal thing about that exhaust is the noise level. It is insanely loud for the street, at WOT it is almost unbearable, to me anyway...some people say it's not that loud, but that's cause they probably like loud exhausts. But yes, it is an annoyance. You do get max HP, but the noise gets annoying as hell, and it drones like a bitch when cruising. The silencer works, but not as good as the Tanabe RM silencer...the Tanabe RM silencer wouldn't fit the Apexi N1 anyway, but as a comparison. It is a good exhaust though, just really loud. Turbochargers make the exhaust sound really good, plus it's just a good exhaust for FI applications anyway, good HP gains...it's up to you, good luck.

I have an n1 exhaust and it isnt that loud. Unless ur driving hard, in which case why the hell not be loud? Unless ur worried about 5-0.

I heard the Apex world sport was nice and quiet. They used it in SCC

I have the Apexi N1 and I know a lot of people that have it also and we all love it. It looks real hot on a Civic. The sound...well it depends on what your definition of a loud exhaust is. I think it sounds great. It's one of the best exhausts on the market.

apexi world sport, greddy sp are both very quiet exhausts with a clean deep tone

i also heard the mugen twin loop this last weekend, that was VERY quiet

I have an AEM catback, and i love the sound of it, in my opinion, it is one of the best sounding and looking exhausts i have seen/heard

but i think again, its all a matter of opinion and preference, some people love loud exhausts, i prefer an exhaust thats quiet during idle and cruising, and lets out a deep tone under light acceleration, and screams in vtec....and thats what i got!

good luck with the n1, and let us know how the install goes, and how you like it!

It's not to loud, but it sure as hell roars when VTEC hits.. I have cops that pull me over that just tell me, "Your goin kinda fast son, arent you?" I'm like, "Umm that's just the sound of my ride your hearing.." They look around the car, nod their head.. and let me go on there way.. then I go home and have a good laugh at when I walk in and say "So I got pulled over again.." the funny part is my parents faces and when they're like.. OMG DID U GET A TICKET!?
