Any non-lowering performance suspension?
I'm going to put all new suspension on my 95 Si hatch, but here is the problem.
I want excellent made performance suspension, but..
I don't want to lower my car (I live in a heavy snow area) so even if it raised my car an inch I would be ok with that. I also don't want to top out either as some adjustable suspensions would do. Any such thing?

You could get a Type-R suspesion. But the car still will be top heavy and would not handle as good as a lowered car.

H&R offers an "OE" spring option. Don't know much about it, but I'm sure you can find some info about them on here or if you google it...

H&R OE Sport is a very very minimal drop...about 1/2" while offering the same spring rate as the Sport model.

exactly. This is the way to go. Get the OE sport springs, and some Koni yellows, and new bushings and maybe thicker swaybars ect. and you'll have a stiff ride and almost no lowering.

yes it will handle differently and will bolt right. but if you do this you will need 5 lug wheels thats for the full swap.

My advice to you is to buy a winter car, if you can manage it that is. That way you don't have to worry about salt damage to the car or getting stuck from it sitting too low. I got my civic stuck a bunch of times last winter because of how low it sits. I was even getting stuck in traffic, which really sucks. Granted, the city workers in my town are about worthless when it comes to clearing the roads.

H&R *OE* Sport would be your best option.
If you are worried about snow, then you really are very limited. Even if you bought coilovers and kept stock ride height, the suspension would be stiffer which would be a problem in ice/snow weather. In those conditions, a stiff suspension can cause the car to skate.

someone mentioned this earlier, but bracing is a non-lowering suspension plus stiffens the chassis without compromising ride quality.

if we're talking about underbraces, they are (depending on manufacture) metal braces that hook bolt on to weak areas of the chassis/frame. i wouldn't go as far to say that stabilizer bars are bracing but it helps prevent bodyroll when cornering.

where do you live? I'm in AK and i had my EF lowered 1.5" and had no problems in the winter and lowering makes a lot of difference in the feel of hatches.
