bend the exhaust hangers so it will pull the exhaust away from the tank. you might also be able to use shorter rubber hangers (might have a tough time getting them on) from your local parts store (pepboys, autozone..etc)
if the above doesnt work grab a rubber mallet or a hammer and try bending the tank a bit (its not a great thing to do) think of this as a last resort.

i took it to meineke to see what they thought and they couldn't figure anything out, and i wasn't charged. but the guy working on it put a rubber hanger in between the connecter pipe (S-shape) and the fuel tank to stop the vibration until i figure something out :-\

I had the same problem with my Greddy. Juts go to a muffler shop and pick up an exhaust flange. Put it between your axle-back section and mid-pipe. Worked great for me. Give it a try. Just remember to get some more gaskets and sealant too. Good luck

No I never took pics of it. But all it is, is a 1/4 - 3/8 flange that bolts right between the 2 sections. Just make sure that you get the right diameter for your pipes. Like a 2.5" or whatever Apex is. Just go to a muffler shop and they should know what you are talking about.

AF22 is on a distinguished road
this is actually a design flaw of the WS for our car. I have the same peice. The apexi WS for our car came from the 98 model civic, thus it fits, but doesn't fit perfectly. There really is no real way to fix the problem, i've gone too 3 exhaust shops. Not much you can do to bend the hangers to get teh right angel of adjustment. Only fix i have is getting another rubber exhaust hanger, and jam it between teh gap while wraping it around with a thin peice of wire to prevent it from falling.

good luck.
